What is DiSC?
DiSC is the universal language of observable human behavior, or “how we act”. DiSC does not measure education, experience, values or intelligence. It simply measures an individual’s behaviors, or how they communicate.
The Application of DiSC
With the knowledge of DiSC, you can learn to understand and appreciate your behavior style, and then adapt your style in communication with others. In fact, you can change the golden rule. Rather than treating others as you would want to be treated, you can treat others the way they want to be treated.

7 steps to more fully understand your DiSC behavioral traits and/or leadership style
Step 1
Take the DiSC profile. Experience it for free.
Step 2
Read the supplement 2A (which is sent once a profile has been completed) and get a free, 20 minute analysis, discussing your behavioral profile.
Step 3
Learn and practice a four-step exercise developed by John Ruh. It will teach you how to identify most behavioral styles within the first three minutes of contact.
Step 4
Identify the profiles of your bosses, clients and peers. Practice effective communication with each profile (D,I,S,C).
Step 5
Identify profiles of your family – Practice effective communication with each profile (D,I,S,C)

Read Bill Bonstetter’s book (The Universal Language DISC)
Step 7
Work with one of our DiSC coaches and create a plan to better understand behavioral aspects of your personality. This will allow you to more fully capitalize on your behavioral strengths.
