Do You Have Paradigm Paralysis
by John Ruh
It sounds like some awful disease and, to tell the truth, in many ways that’s exactly what it is. If you are stuck in one way of doing things (in a box) you can’t possibly have the flexibility needed to keep pace in a changing business environment. What is outside the box that you can’t see?
Paradigm paralysis can be in the form of having the wrong context (wrong beliefs), operating in the wrong structure and/or using the wrong programs or processes. They all have the same effect. You end up stuck in an endless loop using that which is not working. And, to achieve what you want, you must break that loop!!
It does not have to be that difficult. If you make a conscious decision to break the loop, it feels much different than if you get to the stage where you have to break it. This means putting the right programs, processes and models and people in place to implement the changes outcomes and results your company or department truly needs.
Want to discuss your existing programs and processes and its affect on results? If so, please call/email me.
